Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Disconnect the front brake pipe fitting (1).
Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Remove the front brake hose bracket bolt (1).
- Remove the brake hose fitting bolt (1).
- Remove the brake hose fitting gaskets (2) from the brake hose (3).
Discard the brake hose fitting gaskets.
- Remove the brake hose.
