Circuit/System Verification

- Inspect for proper brake fluid level, the fluid level should be at or above the proper level.
- If low, refer to Brake Fluid Loss .
- Command the instrument panel cluster (IPC) display test ON and OFF with a scan tool, verify the brake warning indicator turns ON and OFF.
- If the indicator does not turn ON and OFF, replace the IPC.
- Ignition ON, observe the scan tool BCM Brake Fluid Level Sensor parameter. The reading should be OK.
