Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Fig 1: View Of Coil Spring

  3. Lower the rear axle in order to gain access to the top portion of the rear springs. Refer to Coil Spring Replacement .
  4. Fig 2: View Of Upper Spring Seat/Jounce Bumper

  5. Remove the upper spring seat/jounce bumper from the spring, while leaving the lower spring seat on the axle.
