Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Lower the rear axle in order to gain access to the top portion of the rear springs. Refer to Coil Spring Replacement .

Remove the upper spring seat/jounce bumper from the spring, while leaving the lower spring seat on the axle.
