Installation Procedure

  1. Position the shock absorber to the vehicle.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install NEW upper and lower shock bolts.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the upper bolt to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).
    • Tighten the lower bolt to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

  4. Remove the jack stand.
  5. Install the wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
