Installation Procedure

    NOTE: The transaxle bolts must be torqued in a mandatory sequence as shown.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the front transaxle mount and transaxle bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 90 N.m (66 lb ft).

  3. Hand tighten the front transaxle mount thru bolt.
  4. NOTE: The front and rear transmission mounts must be allowed to settle with the thru bolts loosened.
  5. Loosen the rear trans mount thru bolt.
  6. Tighten the transmission mount thru bolts in the following order.

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the rear bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the front bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  7. Lower the vehicle.
