Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  2. If necessary, remove the shift control knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .

  4. Remove the shift cable retaining clip.
  5. Disconnect the shift cable from the shift control assembly.

  7. Disconnect the shift lock solenoid harness connector (4).
  8. Remove the shift control nuts (2).
  9. Remove the shift control (3) from the vehicle.
