Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift control (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the shift lock solenoid harness connector (4).
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the shift control nuts (2) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the shift cable to the shift control assembly.
  5. If the shift control knob was removed, install the shift control knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .
  6. Install the console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
