Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear transaxle mount and heat shield. Hand start the bolts.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Tighten the rear transaxle mount to frame bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  4. NOTE: Rotate the rear transaxle mount heat shield clockwise until the tab is seated on the mount bracket.
  5. Hand start the rear transaxle mount through bolt.
  6. NOTE: The front and rear transmission mounts must be allowed to settle with the through bolts loosened.
  7. Loosen the front trans mount through bolt.
  8. Tighten the transmission mount through bolts in the following order:

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the rear bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft ).
    2. Tighten the front bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft ).

  9. Lower the vehicle.
