Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
    NOTE: The transaxle bolts must be torqued in a mandatory sequence as shown.
  1. Install the front transaxle mount and transaxle bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Hand start the front transaxle mount through bolt.
  4. NOTE: The front and rear transaxle mounts must be allowed to settle with the through bolts loosened.
  5. Loosen the rear transaxle mount through bolt.
  6. Tighten the transaxle mount through bolts in the following order:

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the rear bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the front bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  7. Lower the vehicle.
