Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

  3. Disconnect the shift cables from the transmission.

  5. Shift the transmission into neutral.
  6. Remove the shifter guide bolt.

  8. Remove the 5 shifter retaining bolts.
  9. Remove the shifter assembly from the vehicle.
