Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  2. Fig 1: Locating Backup Light Connector & VSS Connector

  3. Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) electrical connector (2).

  5. Remove the retainer bolt.
  6. Remove the retainer.
  7. Remove the VSS.
  8. Remove and discard the O-ring.
