Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
When removing or installing the backup lamp switch, do not use an open end wrench. Use only a socket in order to avoid damage to the switch assembly.
- Install the backup lamp switch using pipe sealant. For the sealant part number, refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
Tighten: Tighten the switch to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
- Connect the backup lamp connector (1).
- Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
