Component Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the outside rearview mirror switch.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between all of the control terminals and B+ terminal G with the switch in the neutral position.
    • If less than infinite resistance, replace the rearview mirror switch.
  3. Test for infinite resistance between all of the control terminals and ground circuit with the switch in the neutral position.
    • If less than infinite resistance, replace the rearview mirror switch.
