Component Testing

Static Test

1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S27 Head-Up Display Switch.
2. Test for 8.8-9.3kΩ between the signal terminal 6 and the low reference circuit terminal 1.
   • If not between 8.8-9.3kΩ 

     Replace the S27 Head-Up Display Switch.

   • If between 8.8-9.3kΩ 
3. Test for 550-650Ω between the signal terminal 6 and the low reference circuit terminal 1 while pressing the Page switch.
   • If not between 550-650Ω 

     Replace the S27 Head-Up Display Switch.

   • If between 550-650Ω 
4. Test for 1.5-1.7kΩ between the signal terminal 6 and the low reference circuit terminal 1 while pressing the Up switch.
   • If not between 1.5-1.7kΩ 

     Replace the S27 Head-Up Display Switch.

   • If between 1.5-1.7kΩ 
5. Test for 3.3-3.7kΩ between the signal terminal 6 and the low reference circuit terminal 1 while pressing the Down switch.
   • If not between 3.3-3.7kΩ 

     Replace the S27 Head-Up Display Switch.

   • If between 3.3-3.7kΩ 
6. All OK.
