Electronic Suspension Front Position Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w RT2) Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w RT2)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w/o RT2) Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w/o RT2).




3. Remove the position sensor link (1) from the lower control arm.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector for the position sensor (2).




5. Remove the nut (1) for the position sensor.

6. Remove the position sensor (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the position sensor on the frame (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install and tighten the position sensor nut (1) to 15 Nm (15 lb ft).




3. Reconnect the electrical connector (2).

4. Install the position sensor link (1) on the lower control arm

5. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w RT2) Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w RT2)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w/o RT2) Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w/o RT2).

6. Remove the support and lower thew vehicle.
