Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1	Quarter Upper Rear Trim Panel Assembly Procedure The tether clip at the upper portion of the garnish molding MUST be replaced every time the quarter upper rear trim panel is removed. Release the tether to remove. Securely attach the tether when reinstalling the molding.

Procedure

The tether clip at the upper portion of the garnish molding MUST be replaced every time the quarter upper rear trim panel is removed.
Release the tether to remove.
Securely attach the tether when reinstalling the molding.
