Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w RT2) , Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (w/o RT2) . Remove the wheel speed sensor. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement . Remove the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement (LFX) , Front Brake Rotor Replacement (L99, LS3) , Front Brake Rotor Replacement (LSA) .
1	Front Wheel hub Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: If needed, remove the front brake splash shield. Refer to Front Brake Shield Replacement to gain access to the front wheel hub bolts. Tighten First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft) Final Pass: plus 28 degrees
2	Front Wheel Bearing NOTE: Use the appropriate tool to separate the front wheel bearing from the front wheel drive shaft.

NOTE:

If needed, remove the front brake splash shield. Refer to Front Brake Shield Replacement to gain access to the front wheel hub bolts.

Tighten

Front Wheel Bearing

NOTE:

Use the appropriate tool to separate the front wheel bearing from the front wheel drive shaft.
