Component Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors at the S16 driver information center switch.
  2. Test for 8.8-9.0k Ω between the signal terminal 1 and the low reference circuit terminal 2.
    • If not within the specified range, replace the S16 driver information center switch.
  3. Test for 550-650 Ω between the signal terminal 1 and the low reference circuit terminal 2 while pressing the Select switch.
    • If not within the specified value, replace the S16 driver information center switch.
  4. Test for 1.5-1.7k Ω between the signal terminal 1 and the low reference circuit terminal 2 while pressing the Back switch.
    • If not within the specified value, replace the S16 driver information center switch.
  5. Test for 3.3-3.7k Ω between the signal terminal 1 and the low reference circuit terminal 2 while pressing the Config switch.
    • If not within the specified value, replace the S16 driver information center switch.
