Installation Procedure

- Install the oil pump drive seal. Coat the seal or bore in the engine block with clean engine oil.
- Apply prelube to the oil pump drive gear. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
- Install the oil pump drive.
- Install the oil pump drive bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
