Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LZE, LGD Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LZE, LGD GE47716 Fill) .
  2. Remove the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement .
  3. Remove the heater inlet and outlet hose clamp nuts from the throttle body studs.
  4. Reposition the heater inlet and outlet hose clamps at the pipes.
  5. Remove the heater inlet and outlet hoses from the engine pipes.
  6. Remove the heater inlet and outlet hose clamp from the throttle body studs.
  7. Reposition the inlet and outlet hoses.

  9. Remove the engine mount strut bracket to cylinder head bolts.
  10. Remove the engine mount strut bracket.
