Input and 3rd Clutch Pawl Functional Check

Hold the input sun gear (668) stationary in the position shown in illustration.
The third clutch pawl outer race (727) should rotate only in the direction shown by the arrow and not in the opposite direction.
The input clutch pawl assembly (728) should rotate only in the direction shown by the arrow and not in the opposite direction.
