Input Clutch Housing Fluid Seal Ring Assemble: Assemble

  1. Install J 34741-1:  seal installer into the input clutch housing (632). Adjust J 34741-1:  seal installer so that the bottom of the seal installer aligns with the lowest seal ring groove.
  2. Use transmission fluid in order to lubricate the oil seal ring for the input clutch housing. Position the ring on the J 34741-1:  seal installer.

  3. Position J 34741-2:  Input Shaft Seal Pusher onto the J 34741-1:  seal installer. Push the seal (628) into the seal ring groove.

  4. Repeat this procedure for the second and the third seal rings (628).

  5. Remove the input seal installer.
  6. Use a twisting motion in order to assemble J 34741-3:  seal compressor over the seals.
  7. Leave J 34741-3:  seal compressor in place until the input clutch housing assembly (632) is assembled into the transmission.
