Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid electrical connector (1).
  3. Disconnect the chassis EVAP pipe from the EVAP canister purge solenoid. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve bolt.
  5. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve.
