Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
1 Upper Shock Absorber Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


TIP:  Support the rear axle with a jack stand.
Tighten 
90 N.m (66 lb ft).
2 Rear Shock Absorber Bolt
TIP:  Support the rear axle with a jack stand.
Tighten 
125 N.m (92 lb ft).
3 Rear Shock Absorber
