Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (LS9) 6.2L/7.0L

Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the air intake duct, if necessary. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (6.2L) or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (7.0L) or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LS9) .
1 Drive Belt

Procedure

  1. Use a 3/8 inch breaker bar to rotate the drive belt tensioner.
  2. Remove the drive belt from the pulleys and tensioner.
2 Drive Belt

Procedure

  1. Clean and inspect the drive belt surfaces of all the pulleys.
  2. Inspect the accessory drive belt for correct alignment.
