Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the instrument panel compartment door dampener from the compartment assembly.
  2. Squeeze the sides of the instrument panel compartment assembly allowing the compartment to open past the stops.

Procedure: 
Unsnap the instrument panel compartment assembly from the instrument panel.
