Conditions for Setting the DTC

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 GMC Acadia, 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2016 Buick Enclave. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Condition 1

The low side fuel pressure is at least 0.85 MPa (123 PSI) less than the high side fuel pressure or the high side fuel pressure is at least 0.8 MPa (116 PSI) greater than the low side fuel pressure with the high pressure fuel pump actuator commanded OFF.

The condition exists for greater than 3 s.

Condition 2

The measured fuel rail pressure is at least 5 MPa (725 PSI) less than the calibrated relief pressure for greater than 3 s.

Condition 3

The difference between the desired fuel rail pressure and the actual fuel rail pressure is greater than 3 MPa (435 PSI) for 3 s.

Condition 4

The difference between the measured maximum high pressure and the measured minimum high pressure is less than or equal to 0.1 MPa (14.5 PSI) for greater than 10 s.
