Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Traverse)

Callout Component Name
1 Windshield Wiper Arm Nut Cap
Procedure 
Lift up on the rearward end to disengage from rear window wiper arm.
2 Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

CAUTION:

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.


Tighten 
10.5 N.m (93 lb in)
3 Rear Window Wiper Arm

Procedure

  1. Gently rock the rear window wiper arm back and forth to remove.
  2. Clean the knurls on the pivot shaft prior to reinstalling.
  3. Position the rear window wiper arm on the pivot shaft and align the rear window wiper blade to the center of the wavy defroster grid line.
  4. Hold the rear window wiper arm in position while securing the rear window wiper arm nut.
