Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Enclave)

1	Rear Wiper Arm Finish Cap TIP: Lift up on rearward end of cap to disengage from rear wiper arm.
2	Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component. Procedure Remove the wiper arm pivot shaft nut. Pivot the wiper arm in order to remove. Clean the knurls on the pivot shaft prior to installing the arm to the pivot shaft. Position the arm on the pivot shaft and the wiper blade to the first defroster grid line. Hold the wiper arm in position while securing the wiper arm nut. Tighten 10.5 N.m (93 lb in)

Procedure

Remove the wiper arm pivot shaft nut.
Pivot the wiper arm in order to remove.
Clean the knurls on the pivot shaft prior to installing the arm to the pivot shaft.
Position the arm on the pivot shaft and the wiper blade to the first defroster grid line.
Hold the wiper arm in position while securing the wiper arm nut.

Tighten
10.5 N.m (93 lb in)
