Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Test for 12.4-12.8 V at the battery terminals and record the reading. The battery voltage should stabilize after a few minutes of turning the ignition OFF.
    • If between 12.4 V-12.8 V 
  3. Engine running, accessories OFF.
  4. Test for 13.4-15 V at the battery terminals and record the reading.
    • If between 13.4-15 V 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  7. All OK.
