Driver or Passenger Seat Back Ventilation Heating and Cooling Blower Replacement (Acadia, Enclave, Traverse)

Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the front seat back cushion finish panel. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
1 Driver and Passenger Seat Cushion Ventilation Heating and Cooling Blower Motor Clip

Procedure

  1. Tilt the seat forward to allow access to the blower motor clip.
  2. Disconnect the blower wiring harness from the seat harness.
  3. Disconnect the air duct from the blower motor assembly.
  4. Using a flat-bladed tool, release the retainer tab starting at the top edge, working down and forward while pulling outward on the motor assembly.
2 Driver and Passenger Seat Cushion Ventilation Heating and Cooling Blower Motor Alignment Locking Tab
Procedure 
Using a needle nose pliers or suitable tool, pinch the alignment locking tabs together and push upward to release it from the heater duct.
3 Driver and Passenger Seat Cushion Ventilation Heating and Cooling Blower Motor Assembly
Procedure 
Remove the blower motor assembly from the seat.
NOTE:

Do not touch or bump the white filter on the blower motor assembly or place the blower motor filter-side down.
