The driver and front passenger heated seats are controlled by separate seat heating switches. When a seat heating switch is pressed, ground is momentarily applied through the switch contacts and the switch signal circuit to the door switch panel control module. In response to this signal, the door switch panel control module sends serial data a message to the seat memory control module indicating the heat seat request. The door switch panel control module then applies voltage through the appropriate indicator control circuits to the seat heating switch illuminating the indicators.
