Installation Procedure

NOTE:
The replacement A/C and heater pipes are shipped in two sections and spliced together upon installation. Refer to Auxiliary Heater and Air Conditioning Pipe Replacement/Repair .
- Install the auxiliary air conditioning evaporator tubes to the vehicle.
- Install the auxiliary air conditioning evaporator tubes (3) to the clamps (2).
- Install the auxiliary air conditioning evaporator and heater tube assembly retaining nut (1) to the retaining studs and clips (2) along the frame in the four locations.
- Install the auxiliary air conditioning evaporator tubes (2) to the front air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger.
- Install the retaining nuts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install air cleaner duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
- Install the auxiliary air conditioning evaporator tubes (2) to the auxiliary HVAC module (4).
- Install retaining nut (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install auxiliary evaporator tubes to retaining clips and install nuts (3).
- Install the exhaust flex pipe. Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Replacement .
- Install the right rear inner wheelhouse liner if necessary. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Traverse)Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Enclave)Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Acadia) .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Recharge the air conditioning system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing .
