Air Conditioning Refrigerant Low Pressure Service Valve Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the service port cap.
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
1 Air Conditioning Refrigerant Service Valve
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Use GE-39037  socket to remove the air conditioning refrigerant valve.
  2. Test the system for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing .

Tighten 
2 N.m (18 lb in)
Special Tools 
GE-39037  Charge Valve Octagon Socket
For equivalent region tools, refer to Special Tools .
