Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement (Acadia or Enclave)

WARNING:

When replacing the center pillar lower garnish molding, ensure the seatbelt webbing does not become mis-routed or trapped underneath the retaining clips. If the seatbelt webbing is trapped, it could result in the seatbelt being inoperable, which may cause personal injury.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt from the seat belt anchor tensioner. Refer to Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Replacement .
