Preliminary Procedures Remove the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement . Remove the sunroof sunshade cable. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Cable Assembly Replacement . Do Not remove the sunshade for this repair.
1	Sunroof Housing Rear Support Rivet (Qty: 4) WARNING: Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning . Procedure Place the sunroof frame on a clean and dry surface. Position the sunroof to access rivets. The rivets are located in the rear of the frame on the left and right sides. When drilling cover/protect the sunroof frame and windows from metal shavings. Use a suitable tool, drill out the rivets from the sunroof end caps.
2	Sunroof Housing Rear Support Procedure Clean the old butyl off of the frame using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water by volume on a dampened lint-free cloth. Apply butyl tape to each new end cap. Use a suitable tool, install the rivets in the sunroof end cap. Inspect the sunroof for proper operation. Initialization/Teach motor/actuator, refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Motor) Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Roller Sunshade) Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Motor) Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Roller Sunshade) .

Procedure

Place the sunroof frame on a clean and dry surface.
Position the sunroof to access rivets.
The rivets are located in the rear of the frame on the left and right sides.
When drilling cover/protect the sunroof frame and windows from metal shavings.
Use a suitable tool, drill out the rivets from the sunroof end caps.

Procedure
