Removal Procedure

- Open the instrument panel compartment door.
- Insert the key into the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (1).
- Lift up on the instrument panel compartment door latch.
- Rotate the key clockwise to the locked position.
- Use a suitable tool and depress the retaining tumbler through the access hole indicated.
- With the retaining tumbler depressed, rotate the lock cylinder (1) clockwise an additional 90° and pull the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder out of the instrument panel compartment door latch assembly.
