Diagnostic Aids

Verify the steering wheel is properly installed.
Verify the steering wheel speed position sensor is installed correctly.
The car should not pull in either direction causing the steering wheel to be off-center while driving straight on a level surface.
Inspect the steering column wiring harness for chafing, when the steering wheel telescoping feature is adjusted all the way in and the tilt is cycled up or down. The wires in the steering column harness may be chafed or cut on the tilt telescope mechanism edges.
