Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTC P0658 is a Type A DTC.
TCM turns the high side driver OFF.
TCM turns OFF all solenoids.
TCM commands maximum line pressure.
TCM freezes transmission adaptive functions.
TCM commands the torque converter clutch (TCC) OFF.
TCM inhibits Tap Up/Down function.
TCM inhibits manual shifting of forward gears.
TCM limits the transmission to Reverse and 5th gear operation.
TCM requests a reduced torque value based on input speed.
