Installation Procedure

  1. Assemble the brake hose fitting bolt (1) and 2 new brake hose fitting gaskets (2) to the brake hose (3).
  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the brake hose assembly to the caliper and tighten the brake hose fitting bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the brake hose bracket bolt (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  6. Using a backup wrench on the brake hose fitting, connect the brake pipe fitting (1) and tighten to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
  7. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
  8. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
