Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) feed tube quick connect fitting (1) from the AIR shutoff/check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Remove the AIR feed tube bolt (3) from the heater inlet/outlet pipe bracket.
  5. Disconnect the AIR feed tube quick connect fitting (2) from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Remove the AIR feed tube from the vehicle.
