Installation Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Position and connect the AIR feed tube quick connect fitting (1) to the AIR shutoff/check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Connect the AIR feed tube quick connect fitting (2) to the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
    4. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the AIR feed tube bolt (3) to the heater inlet/outlet pipe bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
