Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the oil level indicator tube O-ring seal with lubricant. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube to the engine block.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the vacuum hose (2) to the oil level indicator tube.
  5. Install two wire harness clips (1) to the oil level indicator tube bracket.
  6. Install the CAC outlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement .
