Troubleshooting Circuits at the MCM Connectors

Special Tools Required

If DTC troubleshooting requires voltage or resistance checks at the MCM connectors, remove the MCM connectors before doing the checks.

  1. Remove the IPU cover (see IPU COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  2. Remove the PCU lid, the PCU busplate, and the PCU cover (see MOTOR CONTROL MODULE (MCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  3. Connect the backprope adapters (A) to the stacking patch cords (B), and connect the cords to a digital multimeter.
