Brake Pedal Position Switch Test

- Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the brake pedal position switch (B).
- Check for continuity between the terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
- There should be no continuity when the brake pedal is released.
- There should be continuity when the brake pedal is pressed.
- If the test results are not as specified, adjust the switch or adjust the pedal height (see
BRAKE PEDAL AND BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SWITCH/IDLE STOP SWITCH ADJUSTMENT
).
If the results are still not as specified, replace the switch.
