DTC B1178: F-CAN Communication Circuit Error

NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1168, B1169, B1170, B1173, B1178, B1185 and B1187 indicated?
YES -Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
NO -Intermittent failure, the F-CAN communication line is OK at this time. Check for worn or shorted wires.
