Engine Oil Replacement Reminder Reset - Procedure 16

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 254 other vehicles, including the 2025 Honda Odyssey, 2025 Honda HR-V, 2025 Honda Civic, 2025 Honda CR-V, and 2025 Honda Accord. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
  • The vehicle must be stopped to reset the Maintenance Minder.
  • If a required service is done and the Maintenance Minder is not reset, or if the Maintenance Minder is reset without doing the service, the system will not show the proper maintenance timing. This can lead to serious mechanical problems because there will be no accurate record of when the next required maintenance is needed.
  1. Turn ignition switch to ON (II).
NOTE: Models with the smart entry system have an ENGINE START/STOP button instead of an ignition switch.
  2. In the Multi-Information Display (MID), go to the Maintenance Info. group. > Customized Features.
  3. Press and hold the RESET button. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the MID. See Fig 1.
  4. Select Reset with the INFORMATION button, then push the RESET button. The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display returns to 100%.
  5. To cancel the oil life reset mode, select CANCEL, then press the RESET button.
