Preliminary Procedures Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket . Remove the seat cushion frame. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement . Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Control Module References .
1	Seat Cushion Cover Procedure Disconnect the seat cushion cover J-channel from the seat cushion frame. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2	Seat Cushion Pad Tip: The inflatable restraint passenger presence system is part of the seat cushion pad on the passenger seat, and must be replaced as an assembly.

Seat Cushion Cover

Procedure

Disconnect the seat cushion cover J-channel from the seat cushion frame.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Seat Cushion Pad
Tip: The inflatable restraint passenger presence system is part of the seat cushion pad on the passenger seat, and must be replaced as an assembly.
