Installation Procedure

  1. Install the evaporative vent solenoid valve (1) to the carbon canister.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the evaporative emission canister (2) and tighten the fasteners (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the evaporative emission hoses (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the vent solenoid electrical connector (1).
  5. Install the rear suspension support. Refer to Rear Suspension Support Replacement .
