Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (LS3, L99)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS3, L99 Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) 
  2. Remove engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement
  3. Remove air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement
1 Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Clamps
Procedure: 
Reposition engine coolant air bleed hose clamp using J 38185:  Hose Clamp Pliers.
Special Tools: 
J 38185:  Hose Clamp Pliers
2 Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose
